Error 10115

Error code 10115

This error simply means that the computers are not communicating with one another.

To resolve this issue:

Make sure the server machine is turned on and is up and running. In addition, the SuccessWare Server software on that system should be up and running as well.

Start SuccessWare and immediately hold down the alt key (PC) or the Option key (MAC)

A Connect to 4D Server Dialog Box will appear

On the Available Tab you should See SuccessWare Server, select it, then Click OK

If the Recent and Available tabs are blank, go to the Custom tab. 

On this tab, enter SuccessWare Server for the Database Name, and the IP address of the computer running the Server application into the Network address field. Click the box next to Force the update of local resources. Click OK. 


We recommend setting your server to a static IP address. Doing so, will maintain the the position so your client can always connect easily.

Note: If this procedure does not result in a connection between the systems and SuccessWare client still is non operational, make certain you can transfer files between computers. If you can not, you may have a network issue.  Start by turning everything off and restarting all systems including the routers used to network the machines.
