Remote Access Software

If you are looking for a software to use for remote access into your studio computers, you may want to look at Logmein.com.

This is an application that can be used to log into your computers at your office. Please keep in mind that this is not a product of SuccessWare nor is it supported by SuccessWare staff. We do use Logmein at SuccessWare, but if any issues occur using remote access SuccessWare staff does not have the expertise to help you resolve your issue, you will need to contact the logmein technical support staff.

There are multiple programs on the market today that you can use for remote access. We are suggesting this one as we use it daily and know that it does work. However, we do not support the setup or the continued use of any remote access software. Therefore, do your own research and determine the best solution for your studio. 

Tips using Logmein:

To install you will need to set up an account on the logmein.com website and install the software on all computers you will want to access while away.

On multi-user you will need to login to a client machine to use Successware. We recommend the installation of logmein on the server as well. This helps in case any dialogue boxes that appear on the server need to be addressed.

The computers that you want to access must be kept on, since you cannot start up a computer from a remote location.
